Hi!  My name is Comet.  I made my entrance into this world at 10.27 PM

Mommie Lynn weighed me and I was a whole 6 ounces. Now, I'm not sure what ounces are cause I'm just way too little and too young to know much of anything right now. After all, I'm only a few minutes old. The only thing I DO know is that I'm hungry and gotta go find my Mommie Lily's snackbar to get my belly full.

See ya soon!

I'm a whole week old already.  You know, it won't be much longer afore I can see U.  And, I can't wait.

I know sum of my spellin' is a little off, but gee, I don't know very much yet. . .I'm just learnin, don't 'cha know.

My Brothers and Sisters and I get to snuggle with our Mommy Lily and she feeds us soooo good.  I get my tummy full and then take a nap.  Eat, sleep, eat sleep.  That's me don't 'cha know.  Hee Hee Hee

See ya next week.  So, come back to see me and I'll have more to tell you.

I surprised Mommie Lynn when she picked me up today 'cuz I got my eyes open.

They just opened and everything is still kinda fuzzy.  I asked Mommie Lynn if that was going to stay that way and she told me no, that in the next few days my vision would be perfect.  Whew!  That's a relief!

I finally got to see my litter mates and if I look like all of them I must be pretty handsome.  Okay, think I'll see if I can race this truck next to me.  I don't think it's going too fast so I should be able to beat it.

LOL   See ya next week.

Did ya notice?  Did ya?  Well????  You didn't notice that I am now a big dawg 'cuz I'm wearing my very first offical collar.  Surprise!

Mommie Lynn was gonna change our ribbons but discovered that Mama Lily is feeding us so good that we are all big enough to wear collars.  I'm so excited!  I know I'm on my way to growin' up to be a big puppy.

We are already three weeks old.  And, even though we haven't gotten our teeth yet, they're on their way within the next few days.  Wunder what's gonna happen when we get teeth?  Mama Lily told us that then we can eat real puppy food.  Now, what's more real than what Mama Lily is feeding us now I wumder... And, what are teeth anyway?  Do I really need them???

Hmm. . . .come back next week and maybe I will know by then.

Merry Christmas!  Merry Christmas!  Merry Christmas!   Now, I'm not too sure what that means, but Mommie Lynn said that to all of us this morning when she woke us up to eat.  Hmmmm . . . .Maybe that's the come to chow words!  LOL

Guess what?  I've got teeth now and Mommie Lynn moved us from her bedroom into the dining room into our very own big pen.  I can see my Daddy Riley and Mama Lily, Aunti Teka, and Grandma Precious and Grandpa Julius now.  Boy!  Sure is nice to have so much "fambly" these days.  Between all of them and my four litter mates, life is grand.  Now if I can only get these four feet to cooperate all the time.  hee hee hee

Yea!  Here comes more food.  Gotta go.  Merry Christmas and see you next week.

Okay, so I understand that this is my last chat with you this year....what the heck is a 2020?  I just got born'd five weeks ago and now we are celebrating a new year!  Whew!  How time does fly~

Mommie Lynn is telling me that I am going to grow up to be very special.  She says that I am gonna be a "Service Dog" for a disabled Veteran and that my new forever name is gonna be "Shiloh".  Shiloh, Shiloh, Shiloh, yup, I can get used to that.  And, I get to say living with Mommie Lynn and Daddy Jim until May when I go to meet my Veteran.  I'm so excited that I just can't stand myself!  HE HE HE

Hey, now that New Year's Eve is here, I hope you have a very safe celebration tonight.  I'll see you next year in 2020!  HAPPY NEW YEARRRRRRR!!!!!

Hello again!  Do I look a little different to you this week?  Well, even though I haven't seen myself, I should look different because I got my very first hairs-cut yesterday.

In the beginning, I wasn't too sure what it was all about.  This "buzzy thingy" was on my face and then other private places (YIKES).  But, now that it is all done, Mommie Lynn says I am a very handsome young man!  So, that's gotta mean I look pretty great this week, right?

I'm not sure what this red thing is next to me.  I asked Mommie Lynn and she said it was a fire hi- hyd- hydra-. . . Oh heck! I forget the word, but she told me when I get older I will like these 'em.  Wunder what she meant?

Well, have a happy day and I will see you next week.  In the mean time, I still gotta practice to learn my new name.  Shiloh, Shiloh, Shiloh, I'm gonna get it yet, Shiloh, Shiloh.......

Hi Y'all!  I've been havin so much fun this last week.  I think I finally got my name down!  Shiloh.  shI - lowwwww.  That's how I remember it.  I know, I know, that's not the way Mommie Lynn speels it, but that's how I gotta remember it.  hee hee hee

The other day, we were out playin' while our pen was getting cleaned, I was chasing my Daddy Riley.  He turned at the last minute and I didn't.  And, BLAM! I ran right into the cab-nit door in the kit-shin.  It was kinda a quick stop.  I backed up, looked at that cab-nit door and barked at it.  Guess I showed it!  HA HA HA

Seven weeks old already.  Next week, I'll be eight weeks old already.  Can ya believe it?  Well, that's all I got this week.  See ya next week.  Hugs~

Eight, count 'em, eight, weeks old tomorrow and everyone but me is getting packed up and ready to go to their new "forever" homes.

Yup, I got my luggage packed too but I'm just movin' in with the big Dawgs here in the house for another four months or so.  Then I will be on my way for training at Anchor Therapy Clinic to meet the Veteran (and my forever Hero) from Contra Costa County that I shall proudly serve.

Ya know, I am really looking forward to my new life with my Veteran because we will become very close and the best of friends.  I am pleased to have been picked to serve America!  God Bless America, my Hero, and all of you.  To those who have served in the Service of the U.S.A., I thank you for your service.

Thank you so much for coming to see me this week.  Don't cry that you won't see me anymore.  Just rember to Thank a Veteran for his or her service when you see one.

My love to all of you for visiting with me every week. . . slurppy kisses~
